Stores en or fr after you use the language switcher. It stops the switcher from forgetting a choice you just made. It does not redirect you on the first visit. Automatic language redirects are off on purpose.

We name every first-party cookie the marketing pages set. If a tool is not in this list, it is not on these pages today.

What we set
Both cookies are first-party, on eqlo.app, with SameSite=Lax and a one-year max age.
eqlo-locale-banner
Stores a dismissal if you close the bar that offers the other language. The bar is drawn after the page loads, so a crawler never sees it. Clearing the cookie shows the bar again.
What we do not set here
The marketing pages do not set an advertising cookie, a retargeting pixel, or a third-party analytics cookie. The product, once you are signed in, may set its own session cookie. That cookie is not this list.
If we add a tool that needs a cookie, we will add a row here and date the change. We will not hide it in a banner of fifty vendors.
How to clear them
Use your browser settings for eqlo.app, or sit in private mode. The site still works without these two cookies. You may see the language bar again, and the switcher may forget the last locale you picked.
