When the canvas is no longer the point

No-code alternative, when to leave Bubble, Webflow or Wix

Eqlo is a competing vendor. Webflow, Wix and Bubble are established hosted platforms. This page records what their public plans said on September 19, 2026, next to Eqlo, and three differences you can verify: first HTML, a native app path, and a region you choose. No row is a verdict on taste.

The repo is the reason people leave a canvas

On 19 September 2026, Webflow, Wix and Bubble publicly describe hosted platforms. Some plans mention code export or a developer mode. That is not the same sentence as "here is a Git repository you can clone and host elsewhere". Eqlo lists that sentence as a product fact. If you are happy inside the canvas, staying is rational. If a developer is about to arrive, the repo is the row that decides. We do not say hosted platforms are traps. We say the exit ramps differ.

Ask each vendor, in writing, what you keep if you cancel. Compare the answers, not the homepage gradients.

Pre-rendered pages, when the URL has to rank

Classic website hosts often already send HTML a crawler can read. That is one reason Webflow sites have historically been easier to index than a client-rendered AI app. Wix has invested in SEO tooling for years. Bubble publishes SEO controls and has said publicly that the more advanced ones sit on paid plans. Eqlo's claim is specific to the new AI-builder problem: the first HTML of a generated marketing page is a full document, not a shell. If you already have a solid Webflow site, switching "for SEO" is usually the wrong reason. If you are leaving a vibe-coded shell or an empty Wix ADI draft, the check is still view-source, not a vendor logo.

Do not migrate a ranking Webflow site for sport. Do migrate a shell. Confirm the first HTML either way.

Native iOS and Android from the same project

Eqlo lists one project for the public site and the store packages. Bubble's public 2026 pricing lists web and mobile plan combinations. Wix sells mobile products as a separate line. Webflow remains, on its public site plans, a web product. Those are different shapes. A responsive website is not an App Store binary. If you need both, count how many vendors, how many runtimes, and how many times you will type the same price. Dated observation, not a ranking of mobile quality.

If the brief is "site this month, stores next quarter", prefer a vendor that already lists both on one project.

Residency, seats and the monthly shape

Eqlo: region at creation, five free projects, Plus at $19, Team at $49 for seats. Webflow Basic from $15 a month on yearly billing after the May 2026 plan tidy-up. Wix Light from $17 a month yearly. Bubble Starter from $29 a month yearly for web. Those numbers move. They also hide add-ons. A fair year-one model includes the add-on you already know you need.

Build a twelve-month sheet with the add-ons you will actually tick. Then look at export and residency again.

What the no-code tools do very well

Webflow, Wix, and Bubble have spent years on a canvas a designer can drive by hand. On September 19, 2026, their public plans still start with a hosted site or app you can publish without opening a repository. Classic website hosts often already send HTML a crawler can read. That is one reason a solid Webflow site is usually the wrong thing to migrate for sport.

Wix has invested in SEO tooling for years. Bubble publishes web and mobile plan combinations. If the work is a layout you want to drag, or an app that should stay inside their runtime, staying is rational. We do not say hosted platforms are traps. We say the exit ramps differ.

When the no-code tool remains the better choice

You already know the canvas

A designer who thinks in Webflow will be faster there on Tuesday than in a new prompt loop. Speed you already have is a feature.

The site already ranks and the URLs are clean

Leave it. Eqlo can start from a URL if you later need a rebuild. Do not spend equity to chase a fashion.

The runtime is the product

Bubble's database and workflows are why people picked it. Rebuilding that in a repo is a project. Stay until the constraint is ownership or a store listing you cannot get there.

A one-hour move test, if you still want to try

You can run this without cancelling anything.

01

Export what they will give you

Ask for the files, the CMS, the domain map. Note what is missing. That note is the real switching cost.

02

Start Eqlo from the live URL

The first pass should show the current tree. You are not typing the business again from memory.

03

Keep both live until the redirects exist

If you publish, the 301s go the same hour. A week of overlap is cheaper than a week of 404s.

04

Re-read both pricing pages on the day

Frequently asked questions

Is this page allowed to name Webflow, Wix and Bubble?

Comparative pages are lawful when they stick to essential, checkable facts and do not denigrate. We disclose that Eqlo competes. We date the table. We invite corrections. We do not call anyone a toy.

Will I keep my Webflow CMS if I move?

Not as a live sync. You bring the content, or you start Eqlo from the URL and correct the draft. Collections are a migration, not a toggle.

Can Bubble workflows be pasted into Eqlo?

No. You describe the job again. Simple forms and lists come across as a first version. A dense workflow app is a rebuild. We would rather say that than sell a miracle importer.

Does Eqlo replace a Wix store?

For a small catalogue, it can. For a shop that already lives on Wix apps, moving is a project. Card fees still go to the provider you connect.

Why would I pay $19 if my no-code plan is already $17?

You would not, if the canvas still fits. You would if you want the repo, the native app path, or a region you can name, and those rows are missing on the plan you have. Price is not the only cell.

Keep the canvas if it still fits. Take the repo if it does not.

Five free projects, no card. Eqlo competes with the tools in the table. The preview is still a fact you can open.
